Terms of Service — Carborundum AI

1. What we sell

• Interview Ready — personalized interview preparation guides (digital products, delivered electronically).
• Ground Truth — per-parcel property intelligence briefs (digital products, delivered electronically).
• Groundwork — move/transaction coordination services.
• Carbon and Silicon — software subscriptions (field service and back-office applications).
• Dark Factory Modernization Assessment — a fixed-scope professional services engagement (10 business days), billed 50% to kick off and 50% on delivery of the Modernization Blueprint.

2. Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in USD. For subscriptions, you are billed in advance on a recurring basis until you cancel. We may change prices for future billing periods with notice; price changes never apply retroactively.

3. Refunds

Digital products (Interview Ready guides, Ground Truth briefs): if you're not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we'll make it right or refund you — your call.

Subscriptions (Carbon, Silicon, monthly plans): cancel anytime; your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate or refund partial months.

Services (Dark Factory Assessment, Groundwork): the kickoff deposit is non-refundable once work begins. If the Dark Factory Blueprint doesn't give you at least one phase worth doing, the final 50% is waived.

4. Delivery

Digital products are delivered electronically, typically within minutes of payment. If you don't receive your purchase, check spam first, then contact us — we'll sort it out.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse our products or services: no reselling our digital products without permission, no attempting to disrupt the services, no unlawful use. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, with a pro-rata refund of any prepaid subscription period.

6. Intellectual property

Everything we deliver — guides, briefs, blueprints, software — is our intellectual property or licensed to us. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use what you bought. You may not redistribute, resell, or publish our materials without written permission.

For services engagements, deliverables (reports, blueprints, plans) are yours to use internally once paid in full.

7. No guarantees

Our interview guides, property briefs, and assessments are built on research and experience, but we can't guarantee outcomes: we don't promise you'll land the job, close the deal, or achieve any specific business result. Use your own judgment alongside our work.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
